Get the Perfect Smile

In the past, people who wanted to straighten their teeth would have had to undergo years of treatment with metal braces. There really wasn't any other available option.

At Clarington Dental Centre, we are proud to offer Invisalign treatment in Ontario. We custom-make a series of clear, comfortable aligners - allowing our patients to straighten their teeth in a way that easily fits into their life.

The aligners are removed for eating, brushing, and flossing, which makes them very convenient. Their transparent, nearly-invisible design makes them ideal for adult professionals who want to maintain their image.

Invisalign makes it possible for you to have the straight, attractive smile you've always wanted - without interfering with your life. End the search for Invisalign treatment and visit our dental clinic today.

More About Invisalign

An orthodontic device called Invisalign uses transparent aligners to adjust teeth as an alternative to traditional wire braces. These virtually invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners allow you to smile more during treatment as well as after.

Invisalign clear aligners are made with 3D computer imaging technology and have been proven effective in treating tooth alignment issues. But Invisalign is not for everyone.

A trained and licensed Invisalign provider can determine if you are a good candidate. Clarington Dental Centre is an Invisalign provider; call us today to learn more about Invisalign braces.

Process

Your First Time

If this is your first time getting Invisalign, you might wonder what to expect before, during, and after your treatment. After all, you are putting foreign objects into your mouth, so it makes sense that you’ll have a lot of questions about it.

By booking a consultation with us, you’ll meet with one of our dentists, who will go over the entire process of the treatment with you. This will help you determine whether Invisalign is a suitable option for you. In the meantime, we’ll cover what things to expect when starting Invisalign treatment.

Before

Your dentist will study your mouth and teeth and talk to you about your cosmetic dentistry desires at your appointment. Your dentist will tell you if Invisalign is a treatment you should consider.

During

The dentist will start the digital moulding process of creating aligners that are customized to your teeth. You will have to return for a fitting once they are ready, and the dentist will show you how to put them in and remove them.

After

Your aligners might feel snug for the first week. You’ll make a return visit a few weeks after your appointment for check-in. After that, you’ll only have to schedule appointments periodically to check on your progress.

  • Am I too old/young for Invisalign?

Orthodontic treatments aren’t just for teenagers! Whether you are 12 years old or 60 years old, you may be eligible to use invisible braces to transform your smile, provided that your teeth are fully grown in and have a mild to moderate misalignment.

We recommend booking an initial consultation with one of our dentists. • What problems can be addressed with Invisalign?

Invisalign's primary purpose is to straighten your teeth so you can have a better smile. That said, there are a significant number of other dental issues that Invisalign is the perfect solution for correct. These include:

    • Overbite
    • Underbite
    • Crossbite
    • Openbite
    • Gaps in teeth
    • Crowded teeth

If you have any of the above issues or just want to improve your smile, give the team at Clarington Dental Centre a call. Our helpful staff can book you an initial consultation and provide you with the info required to make a decision on your dental treatment.

  • How long will the treatment take to correct my teeth?

Generally, Invisalign takes 12 to 18 months to work. However, it’s important to remember that every case is different, and the length of treatment will depend on a number of factors, including the structure of your teeth, your responsiveness and progress in the treatment, and more.

At your initial consultation with one of our dental experts, we'll discuss your dental goals with you, as well as options for treatment, including Invisalign. Taking all the factors into account, your dentist will be able to give you an idea of how long the braces will be required in order to see the best results.

  • Do I keep my Invisalign braces in 24/7?

Unlike traditional wire braces, one of the biggest benefits of Invisalign braces is that you can take them out. However, you should take them out as little as possible for them to work properly. Dentists recommend keeping your aligners in for 20 to 22 hours a day.

If you don’t commit to wearing them regularly, the longer it will take for the treatment to become effective. You should really only take them out when you eat, brush, floss, or clean your aligners.
